Geology Field Trip (Day 2)

Assalam.. insya Allah, tanpa berlengah lagi, aku nak teruskan celoteh2 tentang field trip ni.. n insya Allah this one will be da 2^nd day..so, jejom kita zassss..~~

About 0810 in the morning, we departed from Kota Bharu to Tanah Merah, n this tym we’re going to study about andesite..  there we stopped at the side road where we can walk to andesite area and started our activities..

Then, we continue our journey to Machang to study the weathering granite profile from quarry (bole google klo nak tau).. ha, tym kat sini panas terik wo0o0.. kecik ja mata den.. alamat makin burn la kuit muka den.. huhu..

At 1135 we had our lunch at a mini restaurant named ‘ASTAKA NASI AYAM RM 1.90 dan MASAKAN PANAS’.. haha nasi ayam dia harga singget semilan tu~~.. murah ya amat.. so, with full of confidence, one of us said to the taukey, ‘Bang, nasi ayam 2, setiap orang’.. haha, xmalu gak la tym tu, order sampai 2 skali.. kui3..

Next, we went to Bukit Puteri at Kuala Besut, to study about unconsolidated conglomerate.. yang ni paling best, because we were needed to climb a very steep road, until reach at the top of a hill, just for the conglomerate.. haha, baru lepas kenyang kot tym tu.. adess, xaci tol, sabo0 jo la.. stamina dah abis da la tym tu.. huhu.. at that location, we could see two huge water distribution tank (senang cita, cam tangki air) behind the hill..

our lecturer said, the hill is called ‘Bukit Puteri’ because there’s a story behind this which stated that some ‘angels’ whose lived in that area, took a lot of rocks with varies types from other places, and brought them to this hill.. n so that now this hill contains mixed type of rocks here.. ntah la, betoi ke dak, dengar jo la.. haha

after we had a simple ‘vacation’ at the top of Bukit Puteri (actually we were study there), we moved on to Bukit Keluang (not Kluang which is in Johor) to have the last activity which is to study conglomerate and structural geology, and this one will our practical part for what we’d learnt in Bukit Puteri.. there, we were going along the beach, because conglomerate is located there.. so, alang2 sampai pantai, jeng3..~~

Lastly, about 1645 we checked in at Bukit Keluang Beach Resort (actually kat seblah pantai tu jugak pun..). yg ni chalet dia tu bole tahan gak la, dah nama pun chalet.. ngeh3.. ok2, after dinner, we’d discussion session where we were needed to present our findings during these two days.. this is good because we could gain more information about the rocks that we studied during this field trip..

Ok, I think that all for today.. walaupun penat kaw2 hari ke-2 ni, tapi jangan riso, hari ke-3 lagi penat.. haha..xpa2, xkesah pun.. ilmu itu kan pelita hidup.. biar susah2 dulu, tapi nanti masa depan insya Allah senang..
