Geology Field Trip (Day 3)

Assalam..insya Allah, today I will continue my story which is for the 3^rd day of our field trip of geology course.. today (3^rd day), there were not so much activities need to be done, just a simple activity, which is CONTOUR & MAPPING.. klo nak tau apa itu, jejom kita saksikan.. jeng3..~~

About 0815 in the morning, we went again to Bukit Keluang to continue our tasks.. yesterday (2^nd  day) we’d learnt about characteristics of conglomerate and some practical in the evening, but now, we’re going to measure and estimate the characteristics of this Bukit Keluang by using contour and mapping that hill..

When we arrived there, the GA gave some tips and advices on how to run this task.. after that, in each group, we were going to go round this hill and take as much information as possible about the measurements and characteristics of the hill called Bukit Keluang just now..

As the hill is not connected with other hill, so we need to go round the hill starting from the beach, and finish also at the beach..  at that tym, there was not so many people so we could dun this tasks in a very short tym..

About 0900 we started our journey from a point from the left side of the beach, walked through the roadside, measure height of the hill at some locations where possible, identify characteristics about the rocks of the hill, took some pictures of our + beautiful environments, until we reach at the last point at the other side of the beach.. for ur information, the total distance we went through for this task were about 2.4 km.. xcayo den jalan sejaoh ni.. rasa cm dekat ja tym buat tu.. huhu

After about 3 hours later, we managed to finished our task successfully.. and we went back to the chalet that we are staying since yesterday.. in the afternoon, we were given 3 hours also, which needed to be used for mapping the shill based on the data that we got in the morning just now..

The maps which were plotted by us were presented to the lecturer at 2000 so that evaluation can be done at that tym.. after that, we had our grand dinner at one of the hall at the chalet until about 2300..

So, these were our activities for the 3^rd day.. Alhamdulillah, there were a lot of things that I’d learnt from the task, n I hope to see these again in future.. ok, that’s all.. shukran ktirr for reading.. wassalam..
