SOARING THE EAGLE (PART 6)

As-salam. Sebenornya cita tym hari ke- 4 (11^th Jan 2011) tu blom abis lagi tau.. ha, la ni nak sambung cita lagi ni.. huhu..

At night, we’ve a very interesting topic to be discussed together, which was about ‘OUR CULTURE’.. as we talk about culture, symbol of 1 MALAYSIA or yang sekufu2 (kalo sekungfu pun mybe bole jugak kot~) dengannya will come in to our mind, right?? So, senang cita, malam ni adalah untuk meng-expose to us about our different cultural styles that we may have, 0r may see at any places, especially in our beloved country.. :)

So, in this session, we’ll talk + discuss deeply about 4 main things;

• Food
• Clothes
• Religion sensitivity
• Verbal/ non-verbal communication..

So, varieties of questions had been asked during the presentation by each group of us.. memang BEST sangat2!! Sebab terasa cam InFUD plak.. so, the first InFUD of this year, was in PERMATA, Bangi (for us je la.. huhu :P) mana xnya, suma orang jadi panel2 sukarela for all religion (Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindus), to explain very deeply about their culture, this n that, can + cannot, and other reasons/ opinions based on their religion of views..

Kira puas gak la malam tu, sebab banyak gak benda2 baru yang aku dapat tau.. yang lagi best, Nak (from Cambodia) pun explain gak sket2 tentang adat2 kat negara dia, siap wat demo lg untuk pakaian2 tradisi dia.. huhu.. next, we had present a simple sketsa, about culture.. ada yang buat kawen2 la.. ada yang buat Tahun Baru China (group aku la tu..~) then, before we ended our session, Puan Sherry had bake for us a cake called ‘CARROT CAKE’ (kek lobak??agak2nyo la kan, camano eh rasonyo tu.. :P)

As a conclusion, for this night session, we’ve learnt much about our different cultures, which something we may not know much before.. so, the session like this have make us feels very happy, plus remind ourselves to respect each other + their culture, so that we are able to do this: ‘MANAGING DIVERSITY’ (our theme for tonight..huhu)..

p/s-so, pasni bole la kurang2kan isu2 sensitif perkauman ni.. then, we’ll live together happily.. insya Allah.. as-salam.. :)
